Welcome!

Welcome to the Summer Professional Symposium! This event is a chance for SENS MSs (Energy Security and Regenerative Sustainability) and MWS students to present their work, using either the 3-minute thesis format or a longer (10-12 min) recorded or in-person talk.

Presentations are judged on their quality and clarity by SENS faculty, staff, students, and guests, and the top choices are awarded a small prize (and bragging rights). After watching the students' presenations, please use this judging form to score them.

The symposium will be a hybrid event, held in-person in Room 1261 at the National Hydrology Research Centre (NHRC; 11 Innovation Boulevard, Saskatoon; view map) and via Zoom. We will be using this Zoom meeting link for all parts of the symposium. If you leave the symposium at one point, you can rejoin later using the same link.

After the symposium, please join us for a pizza celebration at Boffins Public House (106-111 Research Drive, Saskatoon; view map) from 4pm to 6pm, where we will announce prizes for the best presentations. There is paid parking available across the road from Boffins.

If you intend to join us in person for the presentations and for the pizza celebration at Boffins that will follow, please use this form to register. Note that you must register to gain entrance into the building.
