Panel on renewable energy in northern communities

On June 20, SENS is hosting a discussion about renewable energy and northern communities.

Renewable Energy: What's the North got to do with it?

SENS invites you to join us for a discussion about renewable energy and northern communities. We’re hosting a panel presentation on June 20 featuring speakers from Sweden, Norway and Alaska to talk about how these countries are meeting the challenge of transitioning to renewable energy in an environment with many similarities to Saskatchewan. We will also be joined by Indigenous leader Gary Merasty, CEO of Des Nedhe Development, to discuss the opportunities his community is seeing.

This panel is part of a growing U of S initiative focused on renewable energy for Indigenous, Northern and remote communities

Tuesday, June 20, 9:30 a.m., Room 144, Kirk Hall, 117 Science Place, U of S Campus
