Program Institutes
An opportunity for all TRANSECTS students and partners to gather, exchange, and learn
Participants will share research practices and outcomes in classrooms and field sites, engage in professional development workshops (e.g., best practices in student supervision and research practice with an EDI lens), and provide structured feedback on TRANSECTS.
The Institutes will foster learning from one another in a safe, cross-cultural setting and support community-building, professional networking, and critical reflection of our pedagogy and research practice. Institute participants will also visit a local BR and meet with residents to discuss the activities of TRANSECTS, and invite feedback about their experiences as hosts.
