Dr. Elaina Guilmette is a curriculum development coordinator in the School of Environment and Sustainability. January 1st, 2025, she will start her new position as Assistant Professor, Academic Programming Appointment in Community Energy Planning at the University of Saskatchewan. Dr. Guilmette's research in the scholarship of teaching and learning has been mobilized to generate new curricula and new educational opportunities for underserved groups in Saskatchewan. Her work demonstrates the value of designing curricula with partners outside of academia and makes sure no one is left behind. She is passionate about promoting positive mental health and nurturing resiliency in classrooms, workplaces, and communities. Recently she received the 2024 Provost’s Support of Teaching and Learning Award for my supportive role in teaching and learning in SENS.
