Dr. Matthias Barth

Matthias Barth is president of the Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development in Germany. Previously he was a professor for Education for Sustainable Development at Leuphana University of Lüneburg. His strong passion is on research and teaching for sustainability with an emphasis on competence development, innovative learning settings and curriculum change. As an enabler of change, his efforts are to create and upscale learning environments to empower both individuals and organizations to contribute to the much needed sustainability transformation.
