Bin Luo PhD Senior Hydrologic Engineer, Manitoba Infrastructure

Biography

Dr. Bin Luo currently works as a senior hydrologic engineer at Water Management and Structures division in Manitoba Infrastructure. He has worked more than 10 years in Manitoba as a hydrological engineer, experiencing from Manitoba Hydro and Manitoba Water Stewardship. Dr. Luo did his PhD research in hydrology and climate change in Canada. 

Statement of activities

Dr. Luo is currently collaborating with Dr. Karl-Erich Lindenschmidt with SENS in developing an ice-jam flood model for Lower Red River in Manitoba. Dr. Luo will be a committee member of one of Dr. Lindenschmidt’s PhD students in relevant research. Dr. Luo will be the end user of the GWF program.
